On the initiative of the World Packaging Organization (WPO), an international webinar GLOBAL PACKAGING TRENDS was held on February 12th with the participation of almost 300 industry representatives from all over the world. Experience and knowledge were shared by leading packaging design specialist Sylvia Vitale Rotta, president of the European Brand and Packaging Association (EPDA) and packaging expert Soha Atallah, WPO Vice President of Marketing. The webinar was hosted by WPO President Luciana Pellegrino, discussing the groundbreaking packaging trends affecting the future of the industry.
The webinar covered topics such as the importance of packaging sustainability among consumers, packaging as a part of the product life cycle, investments in innovative packaging materials and packaging functionality, the impact of artificial intelligence in packaging design, the impact of political, economic, social, technological, environmental and legal (PESTEL) factors on the packaging industry, and other global packaging trends.
